Ajax is willing to pay 8.5 million euros. That amount can increase to 10.5 million through bonuses. Krasnodar has also been promised a resale of ten percent. Talks are ongoing, but according to Romano, Krasnodar has not yet made a decision on the offer.
The 23-year-old Spertsyan has been on the list at Ajax for some time, but a transfer seemed far away due to Russian reports about an increased asking price of fifteen million euros. Now technical director Sven Mislintat seems to see his chance.
Manchester City, Newcastle United, Internazionale, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Sassuolo, SC Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Olympique Marseille are also linked to Spertsyan. The assistant king of the Russian league is under contract with Krasnodar for another three years. He can play in several positions in midfield and on the wings.
Last season, Spertsyan scored fourteen goals and fourteen assists in 41 games for Krasnodar. With Branco van den Boomen and Benjamin Tahirovic, Ajax has already brought two midfielders to the Johan Cruijff Arena.
