Atmospheric and well-attended training by Ajax for De Klassieker
On Sunday, Ajax and Feyenoord will play the first Classic of the season in Amsterdam.
Ajax completed the last training for De Klassieker on Saturday morning under the watchful eye of the supporters. On Sunday afternoon, Ajax and Feyenoord will play the first Classic of the season. Feyenoord’s last training is scheduled in Rotterdam at 3:30 PM.
The last Classic in Amsterdam was won by the Rotterdam team in the last minutes of the match. After seventeen years, Feyenoord once again achieved success when visiting the Ajax players, thanks to the winning goal by Lutsharel Geertruida.
There will be a lot of pressure at Ajax on Sunday, where, as is known, there is administrative unrest and performances are disappointing. At Feyenoord, on the other hand, confidence is high. The last four games were won convincingly and a total of 19 goals were scored.
Ajax – Feyenoord can be seen on Sunday at 2:30 PM on ESPN 2. The preview starts at 1:00 PM. Together with Mario Been, Kenneth Perez and Kees Kwakman, Jan Joost van Gangelen looks ahead to the Classic.
