17:45 – With the (temporary) return of Brian Brobbey, Ajax has struck its first blow on the winter transfer market. However, it will most likely not stop there. It General Newspaper came on Sunday with a quartet of players reportedly headed for the exit.
To begin with, Victor Jensen was mentioned. The 21-year-old Dane made two minutes in Ajax 1 in the past six months, but has to gain much more playing time elsewhere through a rental period. Striker Danilo is on the nomination to possibly leave permanently, after he has been relegated to third striker due to the arrival of Brobbey.
In addition, David Neres and Nicolas Tagliafico may again look for a new club. The two were allowed to leave last summer, but it did not come to a transfer for either of them. Tagliafico has already been linked to three Premier League clubs this weekend: Chelsea, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

The newspaper expressed expectations that some players will probably leave permanently or on a free transfer. On the other hand, Ajax itself may add another attacker to the selection.
