André Onana cannot play for Ajax on Sunday afternoon. The goalkeeper of the Amsterdam team suffers from a slight shoulder injury and is replaced by Bruno Varela in the away match at FC Groningen.
The goalie from Cameroon has a shoulder pain and therefore he cannot take action in the far north. Ajax let that know through the official channels. De Telegraaf also reports that it is a minor injury and that Onana has had another training session. Nevertheless, trainer Erik ten Hag does not want to take any risks and he opts for reserve goalkeeper Bruno Varela.

Varela was already mid-week under the bar with the team from Amsterdam, who won 7-0 in the cup tournament against Spakenburg.
