The song was recorded Good recording in the studio, in collaboration with Lotars Lodziņš and Jānis Kalvi. The lyrics of the single were written by Valdis Čirksts, but Aivo Oskis and Diona Liepiņa also contributed. The bass guitar parts were played by Ingars Viļums. “We wanted to create something very summery and rhythmic. I think – we succeeded together, I am very happy with the result, ”reveals Aivo.
The video clip of the song was made by realizing Aivo’s dreamy things, because for a long time he had in mind the idea that he would like a clip with many dancers, as well as the desire to establish cooperation with the choreographer, dance studio PRO-X manager Ieva Biteniece. We managed to combine the two in this video.
During the self-isolation, I registered on the social platform “TikTok”, saw several interesting dances there, and it encouraged me to create something similar to the video of the song “From time to time”. Ieva Biteniece came up with a choreography for the song and invited “TikTok” users to learn this dance. We invited the best dancers to participate in the video. I was really happy and surprised by the great response. It was difficult for us to choose the best dancers. I am very grateful to everyone who learned to dance, ”says Aivo.
The video was filmed on the AB dam, which is a wonderful place with very beautiful surroundings. In order for everything to succeed, the Riga City Council also came to the rescue, supporting the idea of creating the clip and allowing it to gather in the AB dam. The filming was attended by dancers from TikTok and professionals – dance studio PRO-X, TDK Hornbills, ballet dancer Annija Glaudāne, as well as sports dance dancers – Katrīna Paula Maksimova and Mareks Ozols. “Everyone feels music differently, but at the same time it is possible to express their identity with its help. We came together to show how different we are, but to emphasize that music unites us all. Every dance troupe here forms their own identity, as well TikTok dancers. We are so different, but united in music, ”emphasizes Aivo.
Occasionally At the presentation event, which took place on Wednesday, August 12, in the “Dome Garden” in Old Riga, the participants of the video, the creative team and other friends of Aivo gathered to celebrate the event. And the dance was not missed at this event either. When the audience loudly asked Aivo to sing the new song again, dancers were invited to the stage, who danced the learned dance here as well. It was like a beautiful point on the “i” presentation at the end of the event.
