VALENCIA (CP). The syndic-spokesperson of Compromís en les Corts Valencianes and co-spokesperson of Iniciativa, Aitana Mas, announced this Sunday that he suffers from cancer. She has communicated this through a message on the social network ‘X’, in which he has conveyed that, despite the bad news, “the good news is that he plans to be cured.”
“I have two powerful, beautiful and tender reasons that make me only think about living, I do not consider any other alternative. But this does not mean that tomorrow an easy path to travel will begin,” the Valencian politician expressed.
But she was vice-president of the Generalitat Valenciana, councilor for equality and spokesperson for the Council in the last legislature of the Botanic, after the resignation of Monica Oltra in 2022. Previously, she was a councilor in her municipality (Crevillente) between 2011 and 2015 and subsequently became general director of Transparency and Participation until 2019.
He had been watching and controlling for more than four years that this moment would not come, but finally it has become inevitable…
