The street artist “Ra.ge”, who in the meantime has already had exhibitions in Uehlfeld and Neustadt / Aisch as the “Aisch Valley Phantom”, likes it mystical and is still not recognizable today. He is referred to as the man “with his head through the wall in a world without doors”.
After its beautification in summer, the small forest house had almost become a kind of “place of pilgrimage”, says Mayor Regina Bruckmann. She also likes the works of art very much and is now annoyed about the blemishes. But the community cannot do anything, she says, because it is private property.
Bansky in Lonnerstadt?
“Banksy in Lonnerstadt? Mysterious works of art discovered in the forest” was the title of Bayerischer Rundfunk in the summer of 2020 and it made comparisons between the mystery in Lonnerstadt and the pseudonym of a British street artist who has achieved global fame with his graffiti, but whose identity is unknown remains.

So now not in London, but in Lonnerstadt: two large cat-like eyes in shades of blue and black can be seen on the wall of the “hidden gallery”, in the middle of the entrance. The pupils are now sprayed with orange paint.
Vandalism “I like it”
Inside, there are various splashes of paint on the wall that have been framed. Opposite the phrase “your opinion on vandalism” was sprayed on, underneath is a free field. “I think it’s good” is the answer in orange. The works of “Ra.ge” are not doodles, but are technically and artistically demanding.

Mayor Regina Bruckmann became aware of the works of art in the summer through a QR code that was dug into a field around 300 meters away and has long since been buried. A citizen from Mailach took a picture of the QR code and traced it. Scanning the code resulted in the words “Hello World”.
In autumn “Ra.ge” had as “Aisch Valley Phantom” the “hidden gallery” Lonnerstadt shown at exhibitions, in the Alte Molkerei in Uehlfeld and in an empty Müller branch in Neustadt.
