He said that the enemy launched 24 air bombs today from 7:30 am in the Sumy region, but there are changes in the weapon he uses.
“Before, these were simple KABs that planned and launched attacks on populated areas and infrastructure, now a new planning weapon has emerged.” , – he noted to the officer.
According to him, today the Russians fired 11 new bombs across the territory of Sumy region.
Artyukh clarified that the methods of combating such weapons are the same as in the case of KABs – first, carrier aircraft must be shot down. It is also possible to use electronic warfare equipment that is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Remember that on June 27, the inhabitants of Russia began to use FAB-500 air bombs with a planning and correction module for attacks on Kharkov.
Such bombs were launched from Su-34 bombers and flew a distance of about 65 kilometers before reaching the target.
A few days later, the city was again hit by such aerial bombs.
The enemy also used similar bombs for attacks on the Donetsk region.
