Air traffic in the pandemic era
The largest increase in annual terms was recorded in Modlin. The number of operations at the airport near Warsaw increased from 171 in 2020 to 1,143 in June this year. This means an increase of 568 percent. Compared to the same period in 2019, it was a decrease by 38%. In Bydgoszcz, traffic increased by 389 percent. compared to June 2020, and fell by 49 percent. against June 2019.

The three-digit year-on-year increases also appeared at the airports in Gdańsk – by 147%. (a decrease by 50% compared to 2019), Katowice – by 308%, Kraków by 225%.
