Airports in Italy copy Interjet model with Covid-19 Rapid Tests

Around 25 airports in Italy use the rapid test model «Bio-Sensor», Launched by the Mexican airline Interjet from July 1, 2020 for the detection of COVID-19 among its passengers.

Through a statement, the company announced that this measure is already applied at the international airport of Roma and 24 more terminals, which shows that Interjet had the right to become the first airline in the world to carry out such a test among its users.

The CEO of Interjet, Carlos Del Valle Guerrero placeholder image, made the announcement on his Twitter account, in which he revealed that the Mexican airline would carry out these tests in a free since the first of July of this year.

While the specialized website SD-BioSensorNews He reported that Italy begins to use STANDARD F COVID-19 Ag FIA tests in order to perform a screening test for tourists entering Italy.

The portal details that a total of 25 airports, including Rome airport, have been using the STANDARD F COVID-19 Ag FIA test with the F200 analyzer at the moment and also the RDT test for COVID-19 is approved by Liguria in Italy.

At the time, the test announced by Interjet faced controversial reactions, which quickly surpassed and as the days passed the acceptance increased. And today that same rapid test is already running in Italy, a country belonging to the European Union whose air transport of travelers exceeds one billion travelers annually.
