Jakarta, Selular.ID – Apple has officially released the latest TWS AirPods series, the third generation AirPods. Apple launched the AirPods 3 virtually at the Apple Event Unleashed.
Of course, Apple’s recently released AirPods 3 brings a number of new things compared to its predecessors.
In terms of features, AirPods 3 has several features that can improve quality such as Adaptive EQ, Spatial Audio, Dolby Atmos, and many more.
But behind it all, there is one thing that the public must understand, namely AirPods 3 cannot be run on all iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices.
Macrumors mentioned that the specifications of devices that can operate AirPods 3 are at least already using iOS 13.
Apart from iOS 13, AirPods 3 are also only compatible with iPadOS 13 or later. The reason is because most of the features in AirPods 3 can only work on iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.
Furthermore, because it is required to run at least iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, AirPods 3 will not be able to be used on a number of older iPhone and iPad devices.
Some of these iPhones and iPad tablets are the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPad Mini2, and iPad Mini 3.
Not only on iPhone and iPad, AirPods 3 will also not work on the sixth generation iPod Touch.

AirPods 3 allegedly comes with a shorter stem design, without the Active Noise Cancellation feature, and has a more affordable price. In other words, the AirPods 3 are powered by a chassis with a newly designed battery, even if it’s an in-ear design without silicone eartips.
Pre-orders for AirPods 3 are now open starting last October 19 and will begin shipping on October 26.
Pre-order AirPods 3 can be made through the official Apple Store website or application, specifically for countries that already support.
Apple is selling TWS AirPods 3 for USD 179 (Rp 2.5 million) and purchases are made through the Pre-order system.
