The Paris-New York line is more than ever “the place to be” for airlines. While the “big apple” already has nearly one direct flight per hour during the day from the French capital – with six companies and around 2 million passengers a year – two newcomers will join the party next summer. With the common point, the promise of low prices.
The first will be Norse Atlantic Airways, a new Norwegian low-cost airline that started operations last summer. After Oslo, London and Berlin, Paris-CDG will be its fourth European stop, from where it will operate a daily flight to New York-JFK from 26 March.
