A Turkish airline pilot died during a flight over the US. The Turkish Airlines plane made an emergency landing in New York, the airline announced on Wednesday. The Airbus 350 was flying from Seattle to Istanbul on Tuesday night when the pilot suddenly crashed.
Another pilot and his co-pilot decided to make an emergency landing. However, the 59-year-old died before landing in New York. According to Turkish Airlines, he had been working for the company since 2007. A medical examination in March revealed no health problems. (AFP)
