Hamburgers can now travel from the Hanseatic city directly to romantic Verona within a very short time. Just in time for the Easter weekend, the “Romeo and Juliet city” will be served again from Hamburg.
Eurowings planes take off from Hamburg on Mondays and Fridays and fly Italy lovers directly to the romantic city on Lake Garda. Hamburg Airport announced this on Good Friday.
The flight time is almost two hours. Tickets are available from 59.99 euros per route.
Attractive travel destination: from Hamburg to Verona
“The city of Romeo and Juliet is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Italy,” according to the Hamburg Airport press office. The city in northern Italy is home to the well-known balcony, which plays a major role in Shakespeare’s tragedy.
Not far from Verona there are also numerous hiking routes in the Lessinian mountains. Lake Garda can also be reached within an hour by car or public transport.
