President Jokowi trust ministers always address when there is a problem, but never invite during fun events. This was assessed by the coordinating minister of the Economy Airlangga Hartarto trust Jokowi as a warning.
This was stated by Airlangga via her official Instagram account. Airlangga uploaded a video of Jokowi’s speech alluding to his minister not inviting him to sing.
“Sorry, ready to be wrong Mr. President 🙏🏼. This is not satire, but a warning, at the same time it looks like a direction for us 😄😄,” Airlangga joked, as seen on Thursday (22/12/2022).
In the uploaded video, you can see a video clip where Airlangga introduces Finance Minister Sri Mulyani to Jokowi singing. At the time, Airlangga joked that Sri Mulyani’s voice rivaled the voice of the Red singer.
Sri Mulyani has also opened his voice regarding this matter trust Jokowi. Sri Mulyani also admitted that she is ready to be wrong.
“President @jokowi insinuated us ministers, if there is a problem come and report to the president, when it comes to singing and eating events, ministers don’t invite him. Be prepared to make a mistake Mr. President,” Sri Mulyani said through her Instagram account.
He also explained that the singing event took place as part of the presentation of awards to all the institutions and parties that had organized and succeeded in the substance of “Recover Together – Recover Stronger” of the Indonesian G20 Presidency. Sri Mulyani admitted to being present with Retno Foreign Minister LP Marsudi.
Jokowi jokes are not invited to sing
President Jokowi joked about never inviting his ministers to lunch. Meanwhile, when there is a problem, the ministers approach.
This was conveyed by Jokowi in Indonesia Economic Outlook 2023 broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube account, Wednesday (12/21/2022). Jokowi spoke about the things that have always been difficult for him.
“The two things first, downstream and then supported by green energy. The difficulty is the implementation. But the headache is usually given to me,” said Jokowi.
However, Jokowi said, he had never been invited to any fun events. Yesterday she brought up the singing event that he wasn’t invited to.
“If it’s the problem, the problem, the ministers have to face me. But the good things, like yesterday, were singing, eating and eating, never inviting me,” Jokowi said to the laughter of the attendees present.
