Just over 26 years ago, Apple stormed the emerging digital camera market. The QuickTake was born, and let’s say that despite the manufacturer’s efforts, it didn’t give much (read our retro). Apple has since caught up with the iPhone, which incorporates one of the best cameras on the planet since it is the one you always have with you.
But if it took Apple the urge to launch a new camera / camera, maybe the device would look like theAirCam, new design project imagined by Antonio De Rosa. This machine, the size of an AirPods Pro case, is capable of recording videos up to 5K, it also has a lidar that speeds up night shots.
Two screens are present on either side of the device: a very small one at the front for selfies (with Face ID compatibility), a larger one at the back which acts as a control monitor, and on which is displays an interface inspired by the iPadOS dock. A button on the upper edge allows you to snap photos, there is an SD card reader on the side as well as a tripod mount below. And everything is available in several colors!
Will Apple really enter the market for small GoPro-type cameras? After all, nothing is impossible anymore.
