After announcing 6,000 upcoming hires worldwide, Airbus is recalibrating its HR targets by geographic sector. And 25% of its recruitments will target France. The aeronautical group announces that by the summer, these are 1,500 positions to be filled in France.
4,500 positions, temporary assignments, internships and work-study programs in France
Its cradle, the Toulouse region, should see 800 new employees arrive, in part because of the upcoming opening of the A321 assembly line, scheduled for this fall. In addition to these 1,500 recruitments in France, there will also be 1,500 temporary workers and 1,500 trainees and work-study trainees.
Airbus will recruit as many employees in France as in Germany, while 750 positions will be opened in Spain and the United Kingdom. And will advise at the end of June if it needs to expand its recruitment campaign. These items concern all of the group’s activities: commercial aircraft in Toulouse and the Nantes region; defense and space also in Toulouse, helicopters in Marignane.
