PARIS, June 29 (Reuters) – Airbus expects to cut production by 40% over the next two years, the executive head of the European aircraft manufacturer told German newspaper Die Welt on Monday.
The group will have to adapt this reduction in production, added Guillaume Faury while refusing to make the slightest comment on the reorganization that this would imply.
“For the next two years, 2020-2021, we consider that production and deliveries will be 40% lower than we originally planned,” he said. (Tim Hepher; French version Nicolas Delame, said by Blandine Hnault)
