In 2014, airBaltic became the first airline in the world to accept airline ticket payments Bitcoin. Since 2021, airBaltic has been accepting other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin Cash, Ether and Dogecoin, in cooperation with service provider BitPay, to allow customers to pay for tickets purchased on the airline’s website.

airBaltic accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and four US dollar-denominated fixed coins (GUSD, USDC, PAX and BUSD). The option to pay in cryptocurrency is available when purchasing airBaltic GREEN tickets. These charges are free of charge from airBaltic and are available for flights booked at least five days before your scheduled departure.
