airBaltic has started returning Bombardier Q400 aircraft to the lessor

airBaltic’s decision to switch to a fleet that would have only “Airbus A220″ aircraft, accepted during the Covid-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020. All 12 “Q400 NextGen” aircraft are expected to be returned to the lessor by the end of the year.

The first “Bombardier Q400 NextGen” aircraft joined the “airBaltic” fleet in 2010. During these years, 12 different “Bombardier Q400 NextGen” airplanes have carried more than 11 million passengers and made more than 222 thousand flights throughout Europe.
