It is noted that from July 1 of this year, until a special order, direct flights with the following countries will be suspended:
- Bangladesh;
- Brazil;
- Nepal;
- India;
- Sri Lanka;
- South Africa (Republic of South Africa).
In addition, those arriving in Turkey from these countries will have to provide a negative PCR test done no later than 72 hours before entry. At the same time, they will be quarantined for 14 days.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that this decision was made against the backdrop of a surge in new cases of COVID-19 in some countries caused by new strains of coronavirus.
