Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh: The attendees of the Tenth Arab-Chinese Business Conference, which was held recently in Riyadh, reviewed ways of cooperation to unleash the potential for joint action, especially in the field of air links. This is one of the continuous efforts to deepen relations between China and the Arab countries, as Riyadh and Beijing intensify Their efforts to improve air connectivity between these fast-growing economies.
The conference celebrated its tenth year, in the presence of senior government officials, CEOs, businessmen, and investors. The main focus of the dialogue was that strong air connectivity is a necessity to promote tourism growth and open new horizons, as the air link program pavilion was one of the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism. Tourism, to highlight the currently thriving travel and tourism industry in the Kingdom.
In this context, Mr. Ali Rajab, CEO of the Air Connectivity Program, stated: “In line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the objectives of the National Tourism Strategy, the Air Connection Program works to build bridges between the tourism and aviation systems, and all stakeholders, to consolidate the Kingdom’s position on the global tourism map, and of course, Chinese visitors will play a major role in realizing this ambition.”
He added: “In the air link program, we give priority to cultural ties, and provide the highest levels of quality. The program aims to create a seamless travel experience between the Kingdom and China, through operational readiness, and providing the highest standards of customer service that the Chinese visitor expects, which we offer to all travelers coming to the Kingdom from all over the world. destinations.”
The travel and tourism leaders in the Kingdom, including the concerned authorities, including the air link program, are working to transform the Kingdom into an attractive air link destination. Last year witnessed the launch of 23 new routes to connect the Kingdom with three continents, and an increase in seat capacity by 700. A thousand seats, and several partnerships were established with each of the government agencies in the Kingdom, and other global partnerships with national and foreign air carriers, and as an extension of these efforts, the air link program intends to launch 17 new routes during this year, and increase the seat capacity to 730 thousand seats for priority markets.
