Air Haifa, a Northern Israeli airline, is set to commence operations from Haifa Airport on December 22nd, pending security clearance. The airline’s inaugural flight from Haifa to Eilat is scheduled for 10:00 am that day.Previously, the airline operated flights from Nabvi due to restrictions imposed by the conflict in the north.
With the launch of its Haifa base, Air Haifa will boast a fleet of three modern ATR 72-600 aircraft, making it the operator of the youngest aircraft fleet in Israel.
Along with its domestic routes, Air haifa is excited to announce a new international route from Haifa to Athens, Greece. This service will begin on January 2,2025,with fares starting at $149 one way. Initially, flights will operate five times a week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, adn Friday), departing Haifa at 9:00 am and Athens at 1:00 pm.
Air Haifa currently operates three daily flights from Haifa to Larnaca, Cyprus, starting at $49 each way, and two daily flights to Eilat, starting at 189 NIS each way. These routes aim to provide convenient and affordable travel options for residents of northern and central Israel,both domestically and internationally.

To ensure easy access to Haifa Airport, a new Egged bus line, route 100, will begin operating on December 22nd. This line will connect the central bus station to the airport every 30 minutes, providing a convenient and cost-effective option for passengers arriving by train, bus, subway, or cable car. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least one hour and fifteen minutes before their scheduled departure time.
In preparation for the launch of operations in Haifa, notable infrastructure improvements have been made at the airport. The runway has been extensively renovated, operating systems have been updated, and additional parking lots have been created. Biometric checkpoints have also been installed for international passengers, and a duty-free store is expected to open in the coming months.
Air Haifa is proud to employ crew members from across the northern region, including Ma’alot, Usafia, Ginoser, Karmiel, Dalit El Carmel, Shafaram, Haifa, and the Kiryats.
All Air Haifa tickets are flexible and allow passengers to change or cancel their flights for future credit up to 24 hours before departure. Changes can be easily made through the “order guide” on the company’s website, airhaifa.com. All tickets include a free personal bag, and additional services such as checked baggage and seat selection can be added.
