Air France opens in Montreal and New York from Guadeloupe for this winter 2021

As part of the lifting of travel restrictions and the resumption of traffic to many destinations, Air France is strengthening its offer for the winter season. In Guadeloupe, Air France is continuing to adapt its network with two new routes to North America. First, the company connects Pointe-à-Pitre to Montreal (Canada) with 2 flights per week on Tuesdays and Fridays (return from Montreal on Wednesdays and Saturdays) from November 23. Remember that this Canadian city will be served by Air Canada from December 1.

From November 24, Air France will serve New York (United States) with 2 flights per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays (return from New York on Thursdays and Sundays). These two routes will be provided by Airbus A320 with a capacity of 168 seats.

The opening of these lines is a good sign for the resumption of the high tourist season in Guadeloupe, which begins in October. The 2021 summer tourist season was cut short due to the fourth epidemic wave that affected the territory.
