Jakarta –
A passenger is really upset with Air Canada. He said two passengers were removed from the plane due to a clean-up protest on the plane.
reported Insider, Tuesday (5/9/2023) the passenger who confided was Susan Benson. He wrote on Facebook about the incident that bothered him. He tells about the two female passengers who were removed from the plane. They sat right in front of him.
In a Facebook post dated Aug. 29, Susan said she witnessed two women and a man fighting for seats on a flight from Las Vegas to Montreal, Canada. Susan wrote at the time she smelled a slight stench but had not yet realized where it was coming from.
Shortly afterward, however, he said he noticed someone had vomited on an earlier flight.
“Air Canada tried to do a quick pre-board cleaning but obviously couldn’t do a thorough cleaning. They put coffee grounds in the seat pockets and sprayed perfume to cover the smell,” he wrote in the post.
The passenger told the flight attendant that there was still vomit on their seat, and they wanted to change seats. But the flight attendant said the flight was full and there were no more options.
“The flight attendants explained that the flight was full and they couldn’t do anything about it. The passengers said they couldn’t possibly sit vomiting for five hours,” Susan added.
The flight attendant returned with a supervisor. A similar explanation was given by the supervisor that the flight was full and they had no other seats. Finally, the cabin crew gave them blankets to sit on and more tissues to clean the seats.
Not long after, the pilot came quietly and knelt in front of the two passengers.
“…the pilot headed down the aisle and very calmly knelt down and told the two women that they had two options. They could leave the plane of their own accord and arrange their own flight at their own expense or they would be ushered off the plane by security. and put on the no-fly list because they have been rude to the flight attendants,” Susan added.
The passenger sitting next to the two women defended the two passengers who did not want to sit. He said the passenger who was reluctant to sit was not rude at all. The pilot was adamant in his opinion. Apparently, he then reported the situation to security guards and escorted the two women off the plane.
Susan wrote on Facebook that she also reported the incident to Air Canada. He also defended the two passengers who were expelled.
“I don’t know if they were actually put on the no-fly list or not. I can’t stop thinking about these two women. They did nothing wrong,” said Susan.
