Air Canada announces the launch of three new routes to the United States, including service from Toronto and Montreal to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and the Toronto-Sacramento route.

Air Canada is proud to be the largest international carrier serving the New York market, with more than 3,500 seats on 39 daily flights from six Canadian cities, including Montreal and Ottawa, to New York’s three major airports (JFK, Newark and LaGuardia).

New services to New York’s JFK Airport will begin March 26, with twice-daily service from Toronto and daily service from Montreal.

The flights will be operated by Air Canada Jazz using a 76-seat Embraer E175 aircraft offering Business Class and Economy Class.

Restoration of 11 suspended cross-border services

For summer 2023, Air Canada will also resume 11 suspended cross-border services and increase the frequency of 12 popular routes to the United States as part of efforts to rebuild its global network in the wake of the pandemic.

“Air Canada is very pleased to offer customers a choice unmatched by any carrier serving the United States in summer 2023, with more than 400 daily flights on 95 routes to 47 destinations,” said Mark Galardo, first vice president – Network Revenue Planning and Management at Air Canada.

“Our US summer program, which will complement the recently announced Canadian and international summer programs, is designed to maximize connectivity within our network and to provide the largest number of seats on an unmatched number of flights and destinations.

“Our program, which will be enhanced by the cross-border joint venture agreement we entered into with United Airlines, will also attract sixth freedom international travelers and drive increased connecting traffic to our hubs. »
