Air Belgium will fly to Bonaire twice a week from November 4. On the way there non-stop, on the way back with a stop on Curaçao. Curaçao will also continue to be served twice a week, but on the way there with a stopover on Bonaire instead of Punta Cana.
The Belgian airline will deploy its new Airbus A330-900s (the A330neo) on the route, with seating for 286 passengers. Of these, 30 can be taken in Business Class with full flat-stoelen, 21 in Premium Economy en 235 in Economy Class.
Indirectly, Air Belgium is going to Bonaire to compete with KLM and TUI fly, both of which fly from Schiphol to the Dutch island in the Caribbean. The Belgians sell return tickets to Bonaire for 513 euros on most dates.
