Jakarta –
Passenger Air Asia with flight number QZ 753 complained that his baggage could not be collected because he was in Jakarta. The passenger said the suitcase would arrive in Bali tomorrow morning.
One of the passengers named Chintya said he used an Air Asia plane from Husein Sastranegara Airport to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali. The plane had a flight delay.
“Earlier we departed from Bandung, the plane should have been at 16.35 WIB, but suddenly delayindeed if we check delay because the previous flight also withdrew, finally we just flew at 17.35 WIB,” Chintya told reporters, Thursday (29/6/2023).
Cinthya had to wait for 15 minutes to wait for the luggage. Suddenly the clerk announced that the new baggage could be collected tomorrow morning.
“Keep knowing we’ll pass arrived waiting for luggage, like I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes, suddenly someone came, Air Asiahe said if there were a total of 108 suitcases they couldn’t come today. So the suitcase can only be picked up tomorrow morning, flight 7 o’clock from Jakarta, so now the position of the suitcase is in Jakarta,” he said.
“They said they were flight those who go to Jakarta, they put them there. Tomorrow there flight from Jakarta early in the morning,” he added.
Chintya said that some of the passengers had already received their luggage. A total of 40 passengers are said to have obtained their baggage.
“Earlier there was already a suitcase that arrived, there were only 40, he said, the 108 suitcases were not. The reason he said was for us to fly from Bandung, the airport is small and for the plane, the passengers fullso for the safety of the passengers he said the luggage did not go inside flightits that, doesn’t makes sense please, because it shouldn’t be our business, it shouldn’t be enough seriously they don’t sell tickets full dong,” he explained.
Until now, Chintya said that the airline had not been able to provide certainty when the baggage could be collected by passengers. He said the airline also did not provide compensation.
“So they didn’t even give certainty until now, didn’t give compensation at all. We even asked what time it was like certainty tomorrow, said before 10 o’clock. Then they said they would be delivered to their respective hotels. There were a total of 108 suitcases, I don’t believe it It will be delivered before 10 o’clock,” he explained.
Cynthia has now left Ngurah Rai Airport and is still waiting for confirmation from Air Asia. He said some of the passengers still survived at the airport.
“That was the last time we started going home. We arrived around 8 o’clock, I also just finished this. There were a lot of people queuing to fill out the form for those who wrote down our luggage, whatever number, for the certificate on the suitcase. Then the worst thing was those there were angry, especially those who had babies, sorry for them for baby equipment, milk, everything there,” he said.
