Apple pointed out that the recent product development focus is S-SiCap (Stack Silicon Capacitor). This product is developed using stack capacitor technology (Stack Capacitor) and has more outstanding performance in the field of high-performance computing. It has higher density and smaller volume. Smaller and thinner, with excellent temperature and voltage stability. Compared with traditional capacitors that must be placed on the circuit board, S-SiCap can be closer to the system chip (SoC), solving the problems of space constraints and performance requirements. It is especially important for high-performance SoCs that require extremely high circuit density and low-voltage operation. .
S-SiCap can be applied in several different fields. Among them, S-SiCap applied on Interposer will bring revenue contribution this year. S-SiCap embedded in the substrate has been undergoing technical verification with customers and is expected to be available in 2 to 3 years. Start shipping.
In addition, in recent years, Apple has been actively developing WoW (Wafer-on-Wafer) technology, including customized VHM (Very High Bandwidth Memory) technology. Apple emphasized that DRAM and logic chips are closely connected through 3D stacking. , achieving high-density memory-logic wiring and shortening the memory-logic distance, thereby significantly increasing memory bandwidth while reducing power consumption. This innovative technology enables VHM to achieve more than ten times the memory bandwidth of HBM2E, and is expected to achieve more than 90% reduction in power consumption. AIPU’s VHM technology has been proven in cryptocurrency applications and is highly regarded by mainstream chip manufacturers. Aipu’s revenue in the fourth quarter of last year was 1.163 billion yuan, an annual increase of 41%, gross profit margin was 44%, and EPS was 2.29 yuan. Although revenue in the fourth quarter of last year fell by 6% quarter-on-quarter due to seasonal demand changes, thanks to cost reductions and favorable changes in product composition, gross profit margin increased by 3 percentage points from the previous quarter. Last year’s full-year revenue was 4.227 billion yuan, with net profit after tax of 1.445 billion yuan and EPS of 8.93 yuan. AIPU’s board of directors has decided to allocate a cash dividend of 7 yuan per share on March 1.
