In anticipation of the Midsummer celebration, Ainars Bumbieris sang the patriotic song “People’s Eyes” composed by Māra Čakla and Raimonds Pauls, almost fifty years ago, for Andrejs Lihtenbergs. The musical accompaniment was played by Anatolijs Livča, cello – Pēteris Ozoliņš. The song was recorded in the Roland records studio in Riga.
“Wishing you a sunny summer and a happy Midsummer holiday, it’s nice that the song is still relevant,” says Ainars Bumbieris. Hoping that very soon the government will officially allow more concerts and events. I believe that we will be able to celebrate the holidays and experience the most beautiful wonders of the solstice night together. ”
Ainars Bumbieris would like to thank all his supporters. In the finals of the Latvian television poll “Song of the Latvian Heart”, the song “White Flowers” performed by Ainars won the 2nd place in the audience vote. “STV First!” The song “The Story of My Fatherland” written by the stars of the show “Celebrities without a filter” by Magone Šutoviene and Ainars Bumbiers has been viewed more than 300,000 times on social networks.
