Palakkad: Youth Congress state president Shafi Parampil MLA has said that there will be new faces from the Youth Congress as candidates in the Assembly elections. He said the aim was to regain the lost seats and a necessary decision would be taken soon. Shafi was speaking at the Kisan March ahead of the Palakkad Youth Congress state executive.
The aim of the Youth Congress is to prepare the workers for the Assembly elections. Guidelines will be prepared for the state executive activities in Malampuzha. There will also be a rough idea of how many people from the Youth Congress will contest the election.
More than 100 tractors took part in the Youth Congress ‘Kisan March in support of the farmers’ strike. The Youth Congress All India President BV Srinivas inaugurated the march which started from Kuzhalmandam and ended in Palakkad city.
