Aimee Cutrona, a career diplomat in the United States Senior Diplomatic Service, took charge yesterday, Monday, August 1, 2022, of her duties as Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Morocco, following the departure of David Greene, the former Chargé d’Affaires of this embassy, ​​last July.

Before arriving in Rabat, Aimee Cutrona held the position of Assistant Secretary of State for Levant Affairs, and long before that, the position of Director of the Office of Levant Affairs at the State Department, and Head of Mission Deputy at the United States Embassy in Bahrain from 2016 to 2019, is it indicated on the United States Embassy in Morocco website.

Aimee Cutrona began her diplomatic career in 1999, first in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, then in El Salvador, Qatar and Egypt; she also held several positions of responsibility in Washington.

Aimee Cutrona is a Smith College Laureate. She also holds a Masters in International Relations and Conflict Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
