It turns out that as a child she fooled around and Latvian legend of rock music – Dad Alex – had to try to control the stubble more than once.

“He was such a strong dad. Everyone was afraid of him and respected him, ”Aija remembers and openly says that her father is reluctant to send her daughter to parties. However, if in adolescence the offspring were allowed to go to the school disco for a few hours, they had to wear the clothes chosen by their father.

But as she grew up, her father-daughter relationship became very friendly, even comedy.

“It simply came to our notice then. I want to thank Dad for teaching us self-confidence. He taught to be tasteful and not to chase after everything. And when I said, as a little girl, that I wanted to sing, he said that I had to listen to Janice Joplin, and if I could sing at least one song like her, I could start singing, ”Aija shares her heartfelt memories of her childhood and dad.
