Aidil Sharin Sahak has officially resigned from the coaching chair Persikabo Bogor after his team won 3-1 over Bhayangkara FC at Liga 1. This was announced via the club’s official Instagram, on Sunday (23/7) evening WIB.
“Thank you coach Aidil. Thank you for giving a new color to the Persikabo 1973 game. Thank you for being a motivator, father and also a good friend for us. See you again coachAlways healthy and successful @aidil_sharin77,” wrote Persikabo 1973 on their website.
Persikabo 1973 Media Officer, Nandang Permana Sidik, explained that Aidil had resigned due to family reasons.
“Coach Aidil resigned from his coaching position due to family reasons. Where currently his parents are undergoing intensive care at a hospital in Singapore,” Nandang Permana Sidik was quoted as saying LIB site.
Nandang added that the former Home United coach wanted to focus on looking after his parents.
“He said he didn’t want to lose focus, and as a boy, of course, he had to be able to care for his parents when they were sick. That was the reason he gave that I know,” said Nandang.
Aidil has just brought Laskar Padjajaran to their first win in the 2023/2024 League 1 after winning 3-1 over Bhayangkara FC, Saturday (22/7).
In the four matches played this season, Persikabo 1973 recorded one win, one draw and two defeats.
Meanwhile Aidil becomes the third coach to part ways with the Indonesian club at the start of Liga 1 this season after Putu Gede parted ways with Arema and Luis Milla withdrew from Persib.
