TV profile and journalist Aideen Kennedy died at the age of 43 and now receives many moving tributes.
It was last week that the Irish TV profile and journalist passed away, just hours after she had shared a message on Twitter where she told that she received palliative care.

“Home to die”
“Life has not gone well and I am as sick as I was when I was admitted to the hospital. So I actually go home to die, but get palliative care. The children know. If you ever meet them, will you keep an eye on them? They are the kindest, sweetest and most caring children “, Kennedy wrote in the Twitter message on Friday last week.

Along with the heartbreaking words, she also shared pictures of the children, and a drawing she had received from one of them.
“I hope you get well soon. Love you so much!” it said on the drawing.
The death has affected many, in social media the TV profile is now hailed with nice and touching words, it reports among others Independent.

Among other things, there are many from the TV channel she worked for, UTV, who now remember their colleague. A spokesperson for the channel has stated the following in one press release:
“The UTV family is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of former colleague and friend, Aideen Kennedy. A really talented reporter, she spent many years in UTV and gave viewers stories from all over Northern Ireland. We want to express our deepest sympathy to the family in this very sad time ».

Former UTV political commentator Ken Reid is also among those who paid tribute to his former colleague.
