Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Founding father Democratic party, Hencky Luntung, called General Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) used a ‘drunken streak’ against the Extraordinary Congress (KLB).
Hencky scoffed at AHY’s busy safari to government agencies. According to him, it is better for AHY to prepare legal steps if they do not agree with the KLB.
“This is called a drunken stance. Never mind, if there is a problem, the realm of law exists. We don’t have to go there, move here, one to the KPU, one to Kumham, to Polhukam,” said Hencky in d’Rooftalk: The Struggle for Power in the Party Democrats broadcast by detik.com, Wednesday (10/3).
He conveyed that the KLB camp should have been busy on safari to government agencies. The DPP camp only has to respond if the government processes the KLB ratification.
Hencky also criticized the AHY camp for being busy declaring the KLB illegal. He admitted to pocketing evidence of the validity of the KLB.
He challenged AHY to present evidence and argue in court.
“We don’t have to fight with each other. We’ll see. If you’re not happy, please sue in court. That’s the best thing,” he said.
Furthermore, Hencky asked the AHY camp to be wise in responding to the conflict related to the outbreak. He asked the Democratic DPP not to face the KLB with hate speech.
“It doesn’t have to be hateful, emotional indulgence, witchcraft. This is not good,” he said.
A number of founders and Democratic cadres held an extraordinary event in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, on March 5. The KLB was held because they were not satisfied with AHY’s leadership in the Democrats.
The cadres appointed the Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) Moeldoko as the general chairman. They also appointed Marzuki Alie as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Democratic Party.
Responding to this, AHY and the Democrat administrators went on a safari. They visited Kemenkumham, KPU, and Kemenko Polhukam to provide evidence of the illegal Deli Serdang outbreak.
