AHY called the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development Coordinating Five Ministries

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) announced that the ministry he leads oversees five related ministries .

“There are five technical ministries that are under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development,” AHY said after being handed over positions by ATR Minister/BPN Head Nusron Wahid and ATR Deputy Minister/Deputy -BPN chief Raja Juli Antoni to Ossy Dermawan in Jakarta, Monday afternoon.

AHY said there are five ministries under the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development, first the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) / National Land Agency (BPN). Second, the Ministry of Public Works (PU); third Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas.

“The fourth is the Ministry of Transmigration and the fifth is the Ministry of Transport. These are under our coordination,” said AHY.

The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development is a new ministry created in the Red and White Cabinet of President Prabowo Subianto for the period 2024-2029. Therefore, AHY said he was still investigating the structure and authority of the ministry. According to him, the creation of the structure and authority of the Ministry of Coordination is still at the stage of perfection.

In addition, AHY revealed that his party is also confirming the physical location of the new ministry’s office. All important elements related to the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure will be organized to ensure operational efficiency.

“So the organizational structure, authority or authority is still being processed. This includes the corporate aspect, where we will have offices and so on,” he explained.
