This is what became the impetus for Liu/Ou to maintain their lead. After winning 11-8 at halftime, they quickly took a 17-10 lead.
Ahsan/Hendra’s point gain faltered and they had to concede defeat with a score of 12-21 in game three. Consequentially, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan he failed to win for the fourth time in the BWF World Tour Finals.
