Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok claim many business contracts of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) to the detriment of the company. In fact, this detrimental contract also exists with Pertamina.
“Many contracts in SOEs are detrimental to SOEs, including Pertamina,” Ahok said on his YouTube account Call Me BTP, Friday (26/11).
Ahok was angry with the findings. The problem is, some business contracts actually benefit the other party. Meanwhile, SOEs are ‘lost’.
That’s what I’m angry about. Why do these contracts benefit the other party? That mens reathere is none,” said Ahok.
He was furious because these contracts were not considered a problem by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). According to Ahok, this will only end up being a matter of mispayment or overpayment.
“But maybe you are protected by BPK personnel, there are no losses or it is said that you paid wrongly or maybe overpaid. But if it was me, I would process you for sure,” he said.
According to Ahok, the contract that was detrimental to SOEs occurred because the directors concerned were lured to get something. One of them is a position in a private company after leaving the BUMN.
“So sometimes I apologize, many state-owned directors seem to be afraid even though they are also thieves. Indeed, there is a mens rea that suddenly you have become a comut (chief commissioner) in the private sector,” said Ahok.
However, Ahok did not mention in more detail the contracts that were detrimental to SOEs and which state-owned companies had such detrimental contracts.
