Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok open up about facilities kartu kredit obtained from the state oil company.
He revealed that the maximum nominal limit for his credit card transactions from Pertamina was IDR 30 billion.
“What I got for me as the main commissioner with a limit of Rp. 30 billion,” he told CNNIndonesia.com, Tuesday (15/6).
He added that the facility was also given by Pertamina to the board of directors, commissioners, and company managers.
However, currently Pertamina has removed the facility. The abolition was carried out in the general meeting of shareholders (GMS) on Monday (14/6).
Ahok said the deletion was done to save the company’s expenses. The reason is, the credit card limit given is quite large.
“The policy is for savings only. Astra Group is so large that there is no company credit card facility,” he explained.
He ensured that this decision had been approved by all parties, from the board of directors to the commissioners.
“Verbally, the board of commissioners and the board of directors did not object at the GMS or rejected the proposal to abolish corporate credit cards,” said Ahok.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that credit card facilities had been given to Pertamina officials for a long time.
Unfortunately, he did not specify when the facility was provided.
Not only internal ranks, Ahok said that the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, had also given the green light for the plan to abolish the credit card.
“It’s an operational technique. In principle, the Minister agrees, but because the GMS is represented by a power of attorney, it’s not specific to agree,” he said
