Professor Kim criticized that he might have been assassinated even if he was elected president when Ahn resigned during the 2012 presidential election.
President Ahn’s visit to Professor Kim for the New Year’s greetings is interpreted as an indication that he approached a conservative elder who had a critical position on himself, and also revealed his intention to complete the by-election.
