The Clubs Association meeting was held at the Clubs Association Foundation Maslak Office with the participation of club officials.
After the meeting, Clubs Union President Ahmet Ağaoğlu made a statement to the press.
Stating that they exchanged views with club presidents, Ağaoğlu said, “As the public knows, there is a study that we have started with the federation, regarding the structure of the Central Referee Board. We have re-evaluated it. A new committee has been formed. With the new rule, we have started a study like continuing these studies. The situation has arisen. Let me state this clearly, there is a lot of speculation in the public about this. As the Clubs Association, we have never and in any way brought up the issue of names. As you last saw, we said it again. Serdar Tatlı is gone, nothing has changed, Although matches have not been played yet. There has never been a situation where the new Central Referee Committee and its president were formed at the request of the Association of Clubs. The president of the federation called me 10 or 15 minutes before it was announced to the public and gave me information. We learned 10 minutes ago from you. ” said.
“WE WANT THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERATION TO FULFILL THE PROMISE OF 300 MILLION LIRA”
Noting that Anatolian clubs are in a very difficult situation financially, Ahmet Ağaoğlu said, “They are experiencing difficulties. If we cannot bring Anatolian football to a level that can compete with big clubs in terms of economy and performance, it would be beyond imagination to move football forward. There was a promise made to us by our Federation president at the beginning of the season. A 300 million lira It was a promise and we want it to be fulfilled. Clubs are not in a position to breathe. The only industry whose structured tax cannot be postponed is the football industry. Football was the only phenomenon that kept the people of the country distracted on the screen, playing a match every three days, at a time when cinemas, theaters and concert halls were closed, ignoring our health. And during the financial turbulence we experienced, our club presidents insisted on not eliminating taxes, but postponing football clubs for a year or a half at a point where all taxes were postponed. We will bring it to the agenda again and bring it to the relevant ministry.” landed.
REFEREE PROBLEMS
Talking about the main problems with the Central Arbitration Board, Ağaoğlu said:
“This is an issue that we constantly bring up. Transparency in appointments. A healthy evaluation of observer notes and reports. Separation of VAR and field referees. Field referee on the field, VAR referee in VAR. Effective use of technology, if necessary, switching to an algorithmic structure. Another is training. Whatever the cost of education is, to prevent our referees from reflecting the trouble we have experienced today on the field by getting training from the best trainers. Evaluation of referees or observers with the same last name. One of them will quit their job. This is a problem. We also have referees who act in this direction. The son of a gentleman was an active referee. He had his son leave the refereeing. These are the main issues. There are 6-7 other issues we have identified, but what I can share with you is limited to these.”
“WHAT IS NEEDED, IT WILL BE DONE BY THE CLUBS”
Stating that there is no candidate for the presidency of the MHK that all the clubs agree on, Ağaoğlu said, “One or two of our club presidents said, ‘I don’t have information, let’s investigate if you want’. But the process took a very short time. Mr. Metin Tokat resigned, Mr. Ferhat Gündoğdu came. Afterwards, he was appointed as the head of the MHK. As I said, 10-15 minutes, maybe half an hour before the appointment of the head of the MHK was announced, TFF President Nihat Özdemir called me and asked for support. Our problem is with the system. Whoever implements these changes “Whoever shows this will, we will support. Clubs are the building blocks of this industry. The most important part of this is the lower leagues and Anatolian clubs. No one should doubt that whatever is necessary will be done by the clubs,” he said.
“WE HAVE A THOUGHT OF GOING TO THE PUBLICATION TENDER WITH A DIFFERENT STRUCTURE”
When asked about the Super League broadcast tender, Clubs Union President Ağaoğlu said, “The 9 members of the consultant company we have agreed with are currently in negotiations. There is the idea of going out for a tender. The infrastructure for this is being built. Yes, our lower leagues and Anatolian clubs, with the exception of one or two company clubs, are in very important economic trouble. This directly affects the performance. Before we can raise the performance of Anatolian clubs to a level that can compete with big clubs, Turkish football will continue to rise. “It would be naive to think about it. We could not ensure the competition in the country’s football. We wanted to play with a weaker opponent and win that match. We are faced with the financial and performance problems of almost 12 of our teams. If we aim to increase performance in Anatolian clubs and lower leagues, we need to see an economic increase.” gave.
“WE WILL SEE WITH TFF TOWARDS THIS WEEKEND”
Ağaoğlu stated that they will finally meet with the TFF towards the end of this week and said, “It was a meeting to be held last week, but there was a delay last week due to the resignation of Mr. Tatlı. But towards the end of this week, our working group and the federation’s working group will meet. Short, medium And we will talk about long-term plans. Since the structure has changed, we may encounter different things. Of course, I can’t promise,” he said and ended his words.
