Malmö FF only got 1-1 in Varberg on Sunday at the same time as AIK defeated the top competitor IFK Norrköping with 1-0. Ahead of the 24th round, this means that AIK is keeping pace with league leader Djurgården and is two points ahead of table three MFF. That made AIK defender Alexander Milosevic put extra pressure on MFF after the victory against Norrköping.
– It would probably be a disaster if Malmö does not win the Allsvenskan, says Alexander Milosevic and refers to the club’s superior finances.
MFF’s Anel Ahmedhodzic does not know the quote but agrees with the AIK player:
– I think he is right, we will win. It’s Malmö FF – Malmö FF will win Swedish Championship gold. The goal every year is to win Swedish Championship gold, and this year we have not had so many good results. We have been lucky that the others have not performed so well, we are very much involved and I still think we have it in our hands.

History speaks against AIK, who have not won in Malmö since 1996.
– I do not think you should look so much at history and so, every match is new. I think we have a very good chance of winning tomorrow, especially when it is full, says Ahmedhodzic.

Do you not feel extra pressure before this match?
– No. We have six matches left and we see each match as a final, and you do not feel a little extra pressure. You are used to having pressure on yourself, because you play in MFF. It’s not like I think “oh shit, it’s AIK at home tomorrow”. No, I’m just thinking that it’s another match I’m going to do my best and win the match.

The 22-year-old holds the MFF-AIK meeting as the Allsvenskan’s biggest and looks forward to meeting Bilal Hussein, whom he knows from the Swedish U21 national team, among other things.
– It’s a very big match. The two best in the Allsvenskan meet and it will be a very exciting match. I think it will be a lot of excitement and it will be fun to play it, says Anel Ahmedhodzic.
He has played 20 matches in the Allsvenskan and is on a goal this season.
