Ahmed Yassin: I negotiated with Zamalek

Ahmed Yassin, the Al-Ahly Bank player, revealed that he had entered into talks with the Zamalek administration to move to the White Castle, but they were unsuccessful.

Yassin said in statements to the “Al-Mehwar” channel: “I started negotiations with Zamalek in the Summer Market, but they stopped at the last moment, there was no sharing”.

He added: “The negotiations were not with Amir Mortada (football supervisor at the Zamalek Club), almost everything was agreed and the matter depended on the signing of contracts.”

He continued: “I’m in a big club and its managers treat us with respect and professionalism and spare us nothing.”

He continued: “Al-Ahly and Zamalek are the two biggest clubs in Egypt, and playing for one of them is a dream for any player and brings him closer to joining the Egyptian national team.”

And he added: “I said after the Arabian Cup that I did not deserve to enter the Egyptian national team after I checked myself and found shortcomings in my performance, but at the moment I was hoping to get on the list.”

And he concluded: “My numbers in the first 3 league games this season are better than last season”.
