In support of the Egyptian economy and in an initiative that reflects Egypt’s soft power’s awareness of the challenges facing Egypt, the artist announced Ahmed Saad Regarding the donation of $50,000, he posted a video on his personal account on the photo and video exchange site in which he said: “Of course, my feeling that Egypt is going through an economic problem has become something that causes me insomnia and makes me very tired, and I always think about what I can do.”
Ahmed Saad added: “Frankly, I felt that I had to do something and decided to donate $50,000 from my concert fees that I receive in dollars outside Egypt for the benefit of the Egyptian economy, and this is definitely something that is not mentioned due to the size of the economy we have, but it is an initiative coming from me and no one directed me and no one told me to work.” “Anything, this is something that comes out of myself. I still don’t know who to give it to or what to do, but it is something to make me feel good about Egypt, my country, my love.”
He continued: “Anyone who does something like me will feel a sweet feeling for himself, and certainly his country will feel it, even if it is a small thing, and I hope every bad thing will be far away from us and we will meet every good thing.”
