Helmy wrote the story on his Facebook page, which stated that when his older brother was born, the mother’s desire was to name him Ahmed, while the father wanted to name him Khaled because it was rare for his first child to be named Khaled. While the mother then insisted that the second child be named Ahmed, so that Ahmed Helmy took his brother’s name and his brother took his name.

Khaled Helmy, the brother of the artist Ahmed Helmy, passed away last Friday, and his funeral was held in one of the mosques in Benha, in the presence of dozens and hundreds of the town’s people, who were keen to attend and pray for the deceased, and bid him farewell until his final resting place.

“Helmy” appeared during his brother’s funeral in a state of shock and sadness, in addition to collapsing and crying during his burial in the family cemetery in Benha, and his wife, the star Mona Zaki, was keen to console and support him while also crying.

Ahmed Helmy received condolences for his brother Khaled last Sunday in the presence of a large crowd of artists, who were keen to console Helmy and offer their condolences to the following: Producer Mohamed Al-Saadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Company, Karim Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Henedy, Yasmine Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Hamaki. , Reham Abdel Ghafour, Abeer Sabry, Hisham Maged, Yousra, Menna Shalaby, Amr Youssef, Ahmed Al-Saadany.
