Refereeing expert Ahmed El-Shennawi said that Jihad Greisha’s decision to cancel the Wadi Degla goal against Al-Ahly Club is correct and only the specialist, not the coach or player, understands it.
Al-Shennawi added during his appearance on the On Sport satellite after the match: “There is interference by the infiltrating Wai Degla player with the Al-Ahly player, and it is a handicap punishable by law for the infiltrator player, so the Al-Ahly player was trying to catch the ball.”
The match between Al-Ahly and Wadi Degla witnessed excitement in its second half, as the referee, Jihad Greisha, refused to count a goal in favor of Al-Deglaoui team for infiltrating defender Khaled Reda, as Greisha returned to the video technology to decide not to count the goal, which raised the team with the yellow shirt.
