FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – NasDem Party politician Ahmad Sahroni confirmed that he has resigned as Chairman of the Success Team (Timses) for a pair of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil and Suswono. This decision was made after in-depth discussions with the coalition members.
“The situation is still very dynamic. After careful consideration by the consortium, it has been decided that I will be reassigned. The position of Team Chairman RK-Suswono will be filled by another colleague, “said Sahroni on Sunday (8/9/2024).
As for who will replace him, Sahroni has not given a definite name yet. He said that the official announcement would be made directly by the leadership of the Indonesian Progressive Coalition (KIM) Plus.
Ahmad Sahroni also confirmed that this change did not indicate any problems between NasDem and the coalition. On the other hand, Sahroni said that he was still committed to the DKI Jakarta Regional Election and that he would work in the new tasks given to him.
“This new work is still related to Pilkada and KIM Plus. NasDem is still firm in the existing coalition,” said Sahroni.
KIM Plus, which consists of several major parties, has supported the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono couple to compete in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada (zak).
