Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR RI Ahmad Sahroni again reporting social media activists Adam Denny to the Criminal Investigation Police. The report was filed related to allegations of defamation.
Sahroni said he was accused of silencing a number of parties by receiving money worth Rp. 30 billion.
This was revealed through his personal Instagram account, @ahmadsahroni88. The report was made on Thursday night (30/6/2022) and registered with the number LP/B/0336/VI/2022/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI dated June 30, 2022.
“As of today I report a human who accuses me of silencing related parties with an amount worth 30 billion just to silence him,” he wrote in the post, Friday (1/7).
In the post, Sahroni also attached a photo of a receipt for a criminal act of defamation and/or slander as well as a number of other articles related to telling lies.
According to him, Adam Deni had violated Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 14 of Law Number 1 of 1946. The violation was allegedly committed by Adam Deni on June 28, 2022 at around 17.00 WIB at the North Jakarta District Court.
It is known, at that time Adam Deni was undergoing trial in a case that was also reported by Sahroni.
“You say words like jidad but you don’t realize that your words can cause yourself to get into further legal problems …,” said Sahroni added.
When contacted, Ahmad Sahroni confirmed the report. “Very correct“Sahroni said.
Contacted separately, Sahroni’s lawyer, Arman Hanis, confirmed that his client had reported back to Adam Deni. He called the report related to allegations of defamation.
“Yes, it is true, regarding the alleged criminal act of defamation and slander,” said Arman when confirmed, Friday (1/7).
Meanwhile, the Head of the Penum Divhumas Polri Kombes Nurul Azizah has not received any information on the report. Nurul said he would first find out about the report.
“Please time, we confirm first,” said Nurul.
It is known, Adam Deni was sentenced to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion subsidiary to 5 months in confinement related to this case. The judge found Adam Deni and Ni Made guilty of intentionally and without right to violate the law in any way altering, adding, deleting, transmitting, destroying, transferring, and hiding other people’s confidential electronic documents.
“The trial, stated that the Defendants Adam Deni Gearaka and Ni Made Dwita Anggari had been proven guilty of committing a criminal act intentionally without any rights against the law in any way changing, adding, reducing, transmitting, damaging, transferring, and hiding an electronic document of another person who confidential which results in the disclosure of confidential information,” said presiding judge Rudi Kindarto at the North Jakarta District Court (PN Jakut), Jalan Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (28/6).
“The defendant was sentenced to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary of 5 months,” he added.
