PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) opens a frame checking service enhanced smart architecture frame (eSAF). For consumers who have complaints about the eSAF frame, they can go directly to the Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS) workshop.
Marketing Director of PT AHM Octavianus Dwi Putro said that he was currently investigating the cause of the problem with the eSAF frame which was accused of being porous and broken.
“We are very careful in conducting searches and analysis by investigating the causes of the problems complained of. We are cooperative in helping the ministry to analyze these consumer complaints. Thank you for trusting AHM and the entire Honda network,” said AHM Marketing Director Octavianus Dwi Putro in a statement. quoted Thursday (31/8/2023).
As is known, the eSAF frame is used by the Genio, BeAT, BeAT Street, Scoopy, and Vario 160 models. Honda Genio is the first motorbike to use the new eSAF platform. This motorbike was launched in 2019 ago.
The second motorcycle that uses the eSAF frame is the BeAT and BeAT Street. The motor of a million people of the new generation appeared in January 2020.
The next model that carries the eSAF frame, Honda Scoopy. The new generation of Scoopy follows Genio and BeAT using eSAF in November 2020.
The last model that uses eSAF is the Honda Vario 160. The motor with All New status uses eSAF since February 2022.
In a separate meeting, AHM and the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transportation and also the Ministry of Industry regarding consumer complaints about the eSAF (enhanced Smart Architecture Frame) framework worked together to follow the directions given. AHM also conducted joint research through a joint team from the Ministry of Transportation and the NTSC.
The check was carried out at the Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS) workshop and AHM opened the service contact center 1-500-989 which can be accessed from all over Indonesia for 24 hours in handling every consumer motorcycle.
